Talgo gets its first automatic railway crossing model

A student of engineering from Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad district on Thursday made an automatic railway crossing model for high-speed Spanish Talgo train.

This innovation comes in lieu of the first trial run of Spanish train Talgo between Bareilly and Moradabad as part of a strategy to increase the speed of trains in India. Students said that sensors have been used in the railway tracks, which would test the real-time effectiveness of the railway crossing model.

Students said that this would aid in reducing the number of accidents and will help the Indian Railways.
