Now days the humanitarian gesture among us is on decline, the latest incident in Thane is tend to hold it true. A 22-year-old woman Rekha Navel was allegedly thrown from a running express train in Thane on June 16.
The shocking incident took place in the Mumbai- Gorakhpur express at 12 p.m, while she was protesting and stopping the entry of a man into women’s compartment.
The injured Navel was admitted in a private hospital and undergoing treatment, she said to be out of danger and expected to be getting well soon. The man named Dinesh Yadav was later arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Dombivali.
Dinesh Yadav had boarded his wife into the women’s compartment, while he got into the general compartment.
At every station, he was coming to see his wife. Navel objection to the entering of Dinesh into women’s compartment turned into altercation and he threw Navel from the running train.
