Google eyes India for its robust growth, launch India specific new products

Google unveils big plans for India; it has just introduced 5 new products specially designed keeping in mind the specific requirements of Indian people. The product includes a new Wi-Fi network named Google station as India is the second largest internet using nation.

The range of new products introduced include advanced application version of YouTube, Hindi messaging facility with an assistant, advanced data-saving mechanism in Chrome browser and speeding up internet browsing using the 2g links.

Planning to give a much needed business boost, the technology giant has reached the doors of Railways department. Google will partner with RailTel to enable Wi-Fi access in Railway station platforms across the country.

Google Station comes along with system integrators, carriers and thereby facilitating an easy setting up of quality Wi-Fi hotspots. It will enable access to reliable and fast internet access in places like cafe shops, malls, railway stations and many other public spots.

Alongside the launch, Google conveyed its plans to work along with more reliable partners in India as well across the world.

India is a robust economy and home to vast pool of affordable middle class with strong purchase strength.

Recently, the nation of 1.2 billion has surpassed U.S.A to be crowned as the 2nd largest Internet market next to China. The country is estimated to have around 33.3 crore internet users.
